Our generation should put the first foundations of resistance, regeneration and continuity.

The questions asked are neither contemporary, nor superficial, or simple rhetoric? They are questions that are set within the context of one vital question only: What is the role of Hellenism in the new millennium? From the onset of recorded history, the presence and role of Hellenism was pioneering, basic and useful for the human kind. Whichever science one may choose to study one will read the Hellenic terminology. The great Hellenic visionary Perikles Giannopoulos, a friend and brother-in-arms of Ion Dragoumis once said: ”The duty of a Greek in this world in any era was and is, yesterday and tomorrow, the humanisation of the World”.

This is the timeless “Great Idea” of Hellenism. This is the vision that should be the core of our thoughts, thus providing the basis of our actions and the core of our choices. The various needs and daily problems that occupy our daily life should not the main problem of life. These are superficialities that enslave us into material and pseudo-entertaining addictions, not allowing us into living our heritage freely.

Today, a new world order is being promoted, that has as its purpose a globalized, multiracial and multicultural society.

Today the hyper flow of controlled information of the new order praetorians promotes a faceless society, where everything and everyone are compressed into a valueless and disdained human mass.

Today the nations and the national states, as well as all the traditional cohesive values, like Religion, Family, Homeland, Language and Tradition receive a raging attack by this new and twisted internationalism.

Today Hellenism accepts the massive invasion of illegal immigrants resulting in the colonization of our Homeland from them.

Today, therefore, we the Greeks should in this historical verge comprehend the real dimension of our fight, the role of our generation in the continuation of the Hellenic race.

Our great duty is to ensure our continuity. We should attend that our grandchildren and the grandchildren of these remain Greek, them becoming the delivering agents of timeless Hellenism. In order for this to happen however we the neo-Hellenes should resist our ephemeral interests, we should leave our “major party favoritism” and “small corner shop” mindset and follow the “way of the heart”, because this way is the bearer of our heritage and not of our "pocket", since in the latter case this is controlled by other forces.

The Greeks fought always "in favor of Altars and Hearths", thus should we also act today, because we should shield and elect the Hellenic Creation, as pioneering and leader in a world of values and solidarity that respects the national and religious particularities rather than destroying them. These goals may appear unattainable when compared to the present situation but we should not lose sight and hope. We should take the first step and take the leadership of our Nation in our own hands. We should put the first foundations of resistance, regeneration and continuity.

The People's Orthodox Rally (LA.O.S.) should not become a precarious political party, part of a morally degenerated, politically barren, and neoconservative political system.

LA.O.S. should become the dyke opposing the decline and corruption. A dyke that all the aroused Greeks will use in order that they give their battle, their historical present.

LA.O.S. should be the institution that pioneers the foundation of the vision of Hellenism in the new millennium. Each one us should add the first stone for our generation.

LA.O.S. with its dynamic and creative intervention should give an end in the bipartisan politics of the domestic administrators and representatives of this new and flattening order.

This is our duty; this is our role in the Hellenic history. Anything else is a half measure that will not influence our opponents and even worse the future of our children. In each one of us separately rests the decision for the common and good fight, because, as it was said very wisely by our leader Georgios Karatzaferis "Hellas unites us all; our Hellas of Yesterdays, Today, but also Tomorrow”.
