New York rally in support of Greeks in FYROM
The Cyprus Action Network of America (CANA) played its part this week for the Hellenic Human Rights campaign, by organizing the first successful rally for the campaign opposite the US Mission to the UN in New York on October 27, 2008 during the mid-Manhattan lunch hours of 12 noon - 2 pm. The aim of the campaign, supported by a broad range of human rights, ethnic, advocacy, and Hellenic community based partners, is to ensure that the US State Department promptly and properly investigate human rights violations against Hellenes living in FYROM.

30 years Front National
30 years have been completed this year since the day Jean Marie Le Pen founded Front National. This anniversary coincided with the 12th party convention in the French Nicaea (Nice). The convention took place at the "Acropolis" theatre in Nice, with 3,000 members present as well as many delegations from European nationalist parties. Hellenic Front had the opportunity to follow the conventions' proceedings from 19-21 April after an official invitation from Jean Marie Le Pen.

Jean Marie Le Pen in Athens
On Saturday 22nd January 2005 the president of the French Front National and member of the European parliament Jean Marie Le Pen visited Athens and appeared on a panel discussion hosted by the Hellenic Front. This was part of the campaign against Turkish membership in the European Union (EU) organized by the Hellenic Front. The French politician gave a press interview at 11:15 a.m. with Christos Charitos, communications director of the Hellenic Front. Also present at the interview was Karl Lang, vice-president of the Front National and member of the European parliament.

NO to the Anan plan for Cyprus
Despite the heavy rain, Hellenic Front organized on December 2, a new rally and protest march against the unacceptable Anan plan for Cyprus. The march headed for the Athens Archbishopric, where the resolution of protest was delivered to a representative of Archbishop Christodoulos. Hellenic Front asks from the Church of Greece, the Holy Synod and the Archbishop of Athens and All Greece Christodoulos, to assist the Cypriot Hellenism and back the Church of Cyprus.
