The People's Orthodox Rally enters the Parliament, despite the war by the establishment!
Who are elected MPs

The emblem of the People's Orthodox Rally party.

16th September will go down in history as a landmark date for the Greek Nationalist Movement. The People's Orthodox Rally gained 3,8% and entered the Parliament with 10 MPs. It is the first time since 1977 (30 years ago!) that the national wing will be represented in the Parliament. All these despite the rabid reaction of the political establishment, who mobilised everything they could (splinter Papathemelis party, blackmail, bribery, threats about inability to form a government) to prevent this development.

According to results so far the following are elected MPs: Makis Voridis (Attica), Athanasios Plevris (Athens 1st district), Adonis Georgiadis (Athens 2nd district), Constantinos Aivaliotis (Athens 2nd district), Vaitsis Apostolatos (Piraeus 1st district), Demetra Arapoglu (Piraeus 2nd district), Giorgos Karatzaferis (Thessalonica 1st district), Kyriakos Velopoulos (Thessalonica 2nd distict), Stergios Rondoulis (Larissa) and Ilias Polatidis (Serres).
